More Trail Camera Footage

Note: This blog post was written in March but for some reason did not publish. So this blog post is a mixture of March's blog and a more updated blog.

Most of what I blog about now is trail camera videos, due to the fact that where I have my trail cameras now I have been getting up to 50 videos of deer per week and lots of videos of foxes too.

Recently a friend of my next door neighbour got a trail camera like me and he asked if I would go round and help him set it up with him. We set it up and on the first week we didn't capture any good videos but the next week I went there and we saw that the deer were following a path along the field and over a fence. So we decided to set the trail camera up looking at the fence and he got a fantastic video of a Fallow deer junmping over the fence. This inspired me to put a trail camera up on one of the fences leading into one of our fields. We got quite a lot of action infront of the camera but unfortunately we didnt get a picture of it jumping over it though.

I have to have my Bushnell Trophy Cam 2011 set in photo mode because for some reason it doesn't work when it is set in video mode. When I put it out I thought that the photos might be blurry because of the fact that the deer move quite a lot but the pictures were surprisingly clear.

I also left the other camera (Bushnell Trophy Cam HD 2014) in the same place as before and have got some even better pictures and videos. Including a picture of a yawning Fox, Roe deer buck in velvet, and lots of Fallow deer.

I also put my Bushnell Trophy Cam 2011 across the road from my house in the old bird park which has now been abandoned. And I surprisingly got some photos of a Roe deer doe. I was surprised because it is only a few hundred meters away from a very busy main road.

Note: This was written in March but unfortunately didn't publish. I will now write a more updated end to this blog below.

After I had had my camera traps in the Fallow deer wood for a few months I decided to move the camera to have a little bit of a change of scenery. So I moved my camera to a nearby stream. The stream was not very wide but it took an effort for me and my dog to cross it. We got many Roe deer, Foxes, Badgers, Squirrels, and even a new animal for us, a stoat. I created a movie of all the animals crossing it which is on NatureCams youtube page but I will put it below.

As I write this blog I have just got a new Bushnell Trophy Cam HD 2014 (My third trail camera). I have now got this camera set up at a fence, I have got some great footage but I won't spoil the next blog post so you will have to wait and see what it is.
